Host Hotel Systems and MTI-Managing The Intelligence, Portuguese companies focused on technological solutions for hotels, have announced a new partnership that will “boost the efficiency and sustainability of hotels”.

With this collaboration, it is possible, according to a statement, to integrate information from Host PMS about guests and their respective room occupancy, so that it is possible to remotely control various room amenities, such as air conditioning systems, lighting levels, among others, on the MTI platform.

Thus, the benefits of this partnership for hotels “include access to innovative solutions that allow them to increase efficiency by reducing operating costs and thus increasing their profitability, but also guest comfort”, the company explains in a statement.

“The issues of sustainability and energy efficiency in hotels are a concern for Host. It is in this context that the partnership with MTI arises, to respond to this current issue by allowing hotels to manage their resources more efficiently, without forgetting the importance of comfort in the guest experience,” says João Freitas, Director of Growth & Partnerships at Host Hotel Systems.

Miguel Silva, CEO of Managing The Intelligence, has his eyes set on a “promising future” and reveals that “MTI has great confidence and ambition in the partnership it has started with Host”, believing that it “can increase the notoriety of both companies and boost the creation of commercial and technical value, thus benefiting our customers”.

The MTI Smart Room solution is available for integration into Host Hotel Systems' Property Management System (PMS).
