This General Host Privacy Policy (also referred to as the 'Privacy Policy')
provides information on the collection, use and sharing (collectively referred to
as "'processing" or "process") of personal information by Host Corporation and
its affiliated companies (“HOST” or “US”) in relation to your use of Host websites,
mobile applications and social media pages associated with this Privacy Policy,
your interactions with Host during face-to-face meetings at Host facilities or at
Host events, as well as in the context of other online or offline sales and
marketing activities. This Privacy Policy also explains your privacy rights in relation to these processing activities. This Privacy Policy was last updated on December 18, 2022. However, the Privacy Policy may change over time, namely in order to comply with legal requirements or meet new business needs. If there is an important change that we want to make you aware of, we will notify you through an appropriate
channel (for example, via a context notice or a statement of changes to our
website). As used in this Privacy Policy, the terms "personal information" or "personal
data" means information relating to an identified individual or an identifiable
individual. For example, this may include, among other things, your name,
address, email address, business contact details or information collected

This Privacy Policy is applicable to the processing of personal information of
Host visitors and users of the various Host websites, participants in Host
events, customers and potential customers and their representatives,
subscribers of Host publications or newsletters, as well as visitors of Host
facilities and suppliers and business partners and their representatives.
This Privacy Policy is applicable to the processing of personal information, by
Host, of:
• Visitors and users of Host's various websites, including our websites on
software applications for computers or mobile devices and our social media
pages associated with this Privacy Policy (collectively referred to as the
websites);
• Attendees at Host events, or Host-sponsored events
• Customers and potential customers and their representatives;
• Subscribers to Host publications and newsletters;• Visitors to Host facilities;
• Suppliers and business partners and their representatives.
The Privacy Policy does not apply to the following activities:
• Personal information about you collected by Host customers. Host's
customers are responsible for their own personal information collection and
processing practices, including when customers use Host's products or
services to process their personal information. For more information on how
Host customers use personal information about you, it is recommended to
consult the relevant privacy policies of the company that collected your
information from you. For clarification on the use of your information, you
should consult directly with the company in question.
• Personal information processed by Host to provide Cloud services, technical
assistance, consulting/ACS or other services to Host customers. "Personal
information for services" is personal information processed by Host on behalf
of a customer, in order to provide and carry out contracted services.
• Personal information you provide on third-party websites not controlled by
Host. During the interaction with our websites, you also have the possibility
to access websites, services, social networks, applications or other functions
that do not belong to Host. Activating these features allows the processing
of personal information about you by entities other than Host.
Host has no control over third-party features. We advise you to consult the
privacy policies of these entities before using these features.
Host and its affiliated entities are responsible for processing your personal
information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Host processes information about you that directly identifies you, such as
name, email and address, and information about you that can only indirectly
identify you, such as device identifiers or online activity, when are not
associated with your name.
Host may process information about you collected directly offline and online,
including when you create a Host account to access Host products and services
or participate in a Host-sponsored event. Information about you may also be provided to Host by other selected sources, such as data aggregates, which may not have a direct relationship with you, or by third parties who collect said information on behalf of Host, such as when you download a technical article from Host.
Specific information about you that Host may collect and process depending on
your interaction with Host, including:
• Name and physical address, email addresses and telephone numbers;
• Demographic attributes, when associated with personal information that
identifies you;
• Photographs and testimonies that identify you;
• Transaction data, including ordered products and services, financial details
and payment methods;
• Company data, such as the name, size and location of the company you work
for and your role within it, as well as publicly available company information
and activities associated with the company data;
• Data from surveys carried out by Host or by third parties on behalf of Host
and publicly available information, such as publications on social networks;
• Call recording and chat transcription data from sales and customer service
calls and live chat sessions or interviews;• Unique identifiers, such as your mobile device identifier or cookie identification in your browser;
• IP address and information that may be derived from the IP address, such as
geographic location;
• Information about a device you use, such as browser, device type, operating
system, the presence or use of "apps", screen resolution and preferredlanguage;
• Certain location or geolocation information that you provide directly or
through automated means, if you choose to enable location-based services
from the Device or Host Application;
• Behavioural data from the computer or Internet-connected device you use
when interacting with websites, such as ads you click or view, websites and
content areas, date and time of activities, or the web search used to locate and navigate to a website. Certain online information about you or device information may come from the use of cookies and similar technologies (for example, pixel tags and device identifiers) on our websites or third-party websites. Please note that the Host does not control the content that you may post on the forums or social networks of the Host communities. In some cases, such content may be publicly available on the Internet. You should carefully consider whether you want to submit personal information to these forums or social networks and whether you want to make your profile available to other users. Communicate and respond to your requests and queries submitted to the
Host, If you contact us (by submitting contact forms on our websites, contacting
us via a Host sales chat, participating in Host events or on other occasions,
sending an email or visiting services), we process information about you to
communicate with you and to respond to your requests or other queries. We
may also process personal information to interact with you on third-party social
networks.
Create a Host account and provide functionalities on our platforms and for
the technical and functional management of these
When you decide to register with us (for example, to use our communities),
we have to process the personal information you provide so that we can create a
Host account for you. Please note that this only applies to personal information
controlled by Host and not personal information that Host processes on behalf
of our customers.
Conduct transactions with customers, suppliers and business partners, and
process purchases of our products and services
If you order any of our products or services, or if you provide services to
Host, our employees, customers or partners as a supplier or business partner,
Host processes information about you to carry out and administer the relevant
transactions (such as sending invoices and making payments), administering
your order, and helping you get started using and adopting our products and
services. If you download products or services from our websites, Host uses
information about you to confirm certain information about your order (for
example, if you had no problems with the transfer process).
Analyse, develop, improve and optimize the use, operation and performance
of our websites, products and services
We may process personal information to analyse, develop, improve and
optimize the use, operation and performance of our platforms, products and
services, including for quality assurance and training purposes, as well as for
marketing and sales campaigns. This includes processing personal information
to carry out surveys in order to improve Host's products and services. Where the
websites allow participation in interactive discussions, creating a profile, posting
comments, opportunities or other content, communicating directly with
another user, or otherwise participating in network activities on Host, Host may
process personal information during the moderation of these activities.
Manage the security of our websites, facilities, networks and systems
We may collect website usage data for security and operations
management purposes, to help keep our websites, facilities, networks and
systems secure, or to investigate and prevent possible cases of fraud, including
ad fraud and attacks cybernetics, as well as for the detection of bots.

applicable laws and regulations. For example, to respond to a request from a

Sharing with third parties
Host may share personal information with the following third parties for a business purpose:
• Other external service providers (e.g., credit card processing services, order fulfilment, analytics, event/campaign management, website management, provision of information technology and related infrastructure, customer support, mailing emails, audits and other similar service providers), so that such service providers perform commercial functions on behalf of Host;
• Relevant third parties in the event of a reorganisation, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or part of our company, assets or shares (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings);
• As required by law, for example to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, when it is our good faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, for your protection or the protection of others, for the investigation of fraud or to respond to governmental requests, including from public and governmental authorities outside your country of residence, for national security and/or law enforcement purposes.
Host may share personal information with the following third parties for a commercial purpose:
• Host distributors or resellers, for additional follow-up related to your interests, specific partners offering complementary products and services, or with third parties to facilitate interest-based advertising;
• Event partners or conference sponsors for Host events, such as when scanning your ID card at a sponsored booth.
When granting access to personal information to third parties, Host takes appropriate contractual, technical and organizational measures to ensure that personal information is processed only to the extent necessary for such processing, consistent with this Privacy Policy and in compliance with the applicable law.
You have privacy rights over the information we process about you. You can opt out of sharing with third parties, object to, or limit our use of your personal information, as well as delete, change or correct your personal information or access it by filling out our query form. If your query is related to a Host service account or support for Host products or services, you should access the Contacts page to obtain resources and contact information for administering the service account data.
You can exercise your privacy rights in accordance with applicable laws, as specified on our Privacy Options page, or by completing our inquiry form. You have a number of privacy rights, subject to applicable law, in relation to the information we process about you:
Choosing to exclude or share your personal information
You may cancel the previously granted authorisation for the processing of
information about you, including for email marketing, by Host.
Deleting Personal Information
You can request that we delete some or all of the information about you.
Changing or correcting personal information
You can edit some of the information about yourself. You can also ask us
to change, update or edit information about you in certain cases,
especially if it is incorrect.
Objecting to or limiting the use of personal information
You can request that we stop using some or all of the information about
you (for example, if we do not have the legal right to continue using it) or
that we limit our use of it (for example, if the information about you is not
correct).
Right of access and/or receipt of your information by you
You can also ask us for a copy of the information about you in a machine-
readable format, if you reside in the EU, or in another jurisdiction that
gives you this right by law.
If you are authorised to make an access or deletion request on behalf of a data subject, contact us using the inquiry form and indicate that you are an authorised agent. We will provide you with instructions on how to submit a request as an authorised agent on behalf of a data subject.

Cookies and similar technologies (for example, pixel tags and device identifiers) are used by Host and its advertising technology partners to recognise you and/ or recognise your devices in different services and devices for the stipulated purposes in Section 5 above.
When do we use cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that contain a string of characters and uniquely identify a browser on a device connected to the Internet. We place cookies on your browser when you visit the Host website and non-Host websites that host our plug-ins or tags. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be presented with different consent options, including the option to reject all non-essential cookies, before Host places cookies on your browser. Visitors from all jurisdictions have the functionality to delete unnecessary cookies using the cookie preferences tool.

Host is a global company with operations in more than 13 countries and personal information is processed on a global basis as required in accordance with this Policy. If personal information is transferred to a Host recipient in a country that does not provide an adequate level of protection for personal information, Host will adopt appropriate measures designed to protect personal information, for example by ensuring that such transfers are subject to the terms of the Clauses EU Model or other suitable transfer mechanism as required by relevant data protection laws. Additional country-specific information about data transfers may be provided if you sign up for a Host account, or if you register for an event.
Host has implemented appropriate technical, physical and organisational
measures designed to protect personal information against accidental or
unlawful destruction, accidental loss, damage, alteration, unauthorised
disclosure or access, as well as against all other forms of unlawful processing.
Host does not ask you to submit any confidential personal information, such as details regarding racial or ethnic origin, religion or philosophical beliefs, health, sexual orientation, political affiliation in connection with job applications and our recruitment activities. To the extent that the information provided by you contains confidential information, for example, details as to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions or beliefs, religious beliefs, trade union membership or party affiliation, physical or mental health status, sexual orientation, practice or alleged practice of crime or similar, professional evaluations or academic records, we assume that you expressly authorise Host to process this information as specified in this Privacy Policy. Host's processing of voice recordings or images, behaviours, personality or other psychometric information obtained from you is subject to the terms of the Supplemental Recruitment Privacy Policy.
On the other hand, if you suffer from a disability and want Host to take into account any need for adaptation, you can provide such information during the recruitment process. In some countries, under applicable law, Host may expressly request information such as race or ethnicity for the purposes of controlling equal opportunities. However, we do not ask candidates to provide such information as part of their job application and recruitment activities and, if the candidate chooses to provide such information under Host's equal opportunities program, it will not be visible or used in the selection or hiring process.
You are responsible for the personal information you provide or make available to Host and must ensure that it is relevant, true, accurate and that it is not misleading. You must ensure that the information provided does not contain material that is obscene, defamatory or that infringes any third party rights, that it does not contain harmful code and that it does not violate any law. In addition, if you provide information regarding any other person, such as individuals that you indicate as a reference, you are responsible for providing all notices and obtaining the necessary authorisations for Host to collect and use such information as described in this Privacy Policy .
Confidential personal information
We ask that you do not send us or share sensitive personal information (for example, government-issued IDs, information relating to race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, genetic or biometric data, criminal record or membership in labor organisations).
Privacy of minors
As a company focused on responding to the needs of companies, Host's platforms are not aimed at minors and Host does not promote or market its services to minors, except in very limited circumstances, as part of specific educational development programs with parental authorization. If you believe that, by mistake or unintentionally, we have collected personal information from a minor through our websites without proper authorization, please notify us through our query form, so that we can proceed immediately to delete the information from our servers and carry out any other necessary corrections. Also, use this same form to request the removal of content or information published on our websites in situations where the registered user is under the age of 16. Please note that such requests may not guarantee complete or comprehensive removal of content or information, if, for example, part of the content has been posted by another user.
